The Jackson County Volunteers Camp 94 held a regular meeting on January 08, 2009 at the of Jefferson Clubhouse. month program was given by teacher, author and southern Mr. Darrell Huckaby from Porterdale GA. has written several books on life in the South. Huckaby would love to come visit with your camp contact him at dhuck08@BellSouth.net. The camp was pleased to have Associate member Charles and Cathy Jones visit with us from SCV Camp 96.

New Officers are as the follows: Commander Steven Satterfield, Adjutant Randy Evans, 1st Lt Dale Dillow, 2nd Lt. James Willis, 3rd Lt. Micah Dooley, Chaplain Gary Cruce, QuarterMaster Robert Satterfield, Sergeant At Arms Dwight Wier, Treasurer Steven Satterfield, Color Guard David Mann, Chairman Monument Committee Michael Bowen and Cemetery Clean Up Committee James Willis and Dale Dillow.

Members of the camp visited with the Cleveland GA SCV during Christmas and are making plans with them to do a Cemetery Clean Up in Cleveland on January 31, 2009 at the SlabTown/Pleasant Retreat Cemetery. Satterfield was inducted in the Dixie Club from the National SCV for recruiting the most members into the SCV.

The Brig. Gen T.R.R. Cobb Camp #97, Athens meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:30 P.M. at the Watkinsville City Hall.

Charles W. Baldwin Camp #105 Morgan Co. meets in the county library on
the 3rd Tue at 7pm.

Camp #922 Lexington meets at the Brooks Home on the 3rd Thur at 7:30pm.

The Lt. Dickson L. Baker Camp #926 meets on the 2nd Monday of each month
at 6:30 pm in the UDC clubhouse across the street from McDonalds in
Hartwell.

Currahee Rangers Camp #935 Toccoa meets the 3rd Mon at Quincy's at 6:30 for
food, meeting time 7:20pm

Greene Rifles Camp #942, Greensboro meets the fourth Tuesday, 7:00 pm at
Cotton's Corner, 2110 East Broad Street, Greensboro.

The Madison County Greys, Camp #1526 Colbert meets the 4th Mon at 7:30pm at the First Madison Bank in Colbert.
