Savannah Militia, Camp # 1657:

The Savannah Militia has maintained 100% membership retention for 3 years. We lost 4 members to transfers last year. But have brought our numbers back up with new. The camp will host the SCV contingent in the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Savannah GA as we have for the last 15 years. We are looking for others to join us in the parade. We have started a work detail to repaint the Confederate Iron Cross's in Laural Grove Cemetery in Savannah. We continue to have our trash pickup along HWY US 80. We have voted to send a $100.00 donation to the Florida Division to help with the flag on I 75.

Ebenezer Rifles, Camp # 1901:

Camp # 1901 co-sponsored their Lee Jackson, held in Statesboro on January 5th , with several other SCV Camps. The joint effort was a huge success and will probably be repeated next year. The Guest Speaker was Lt. CiC Michael Givens. Camp # 1901 has an ongoing flag project in several locations, and maintains their sites and replaces the flags in a proper and respectful manner. Commander Thad Beckum is currently shooting a DVD, Why We Fought, for general distribution and Camp # 1901 plans to make it available to the school systems. See their web site: www.ebenezerrifles.com .

Robert H. Anderson, Camp # 1919:

Camp # 1919 maintains the flag on I-16 and two more along U.S. 84 in and around Liberty and Long Counties.
